Public and Global Health professional and clinical research leader with over 7 years of experience advancing trauma-informed, equity-driven research and programs across academic medicine, community settings, and global health contexts. I have led and managed complex biomedical and behavioral research projects spanning reproductive health, refugee and immigrant health, chronic disease management, and health systems innovation.

My work has included serving as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Research Center Manager in academic medicine, where I supervised multidisciplinary teams of up to 60+ researchers, coordinated multi-site clinical studies, developed SOPs, managed IRB and regulatory submissions, and partnered with community organizations locally and internationally. I have contributed to grant writing, manuscript development, EHR-based quality improvement initiatives, and mixed-methods research with direct policy and clinical impact.

As a certified medical interpreter fluent in Arabic, Chaldean, Kurdish, Turkish, and English, I bring a culturally responsive and community-engaged lens to research and program development. I am proud to have contributed to peer-reviewed publications, national and international conference presentations, and my work has resulted in award-winning global/public health research focused on refugee women’s reproductive health.
